The program
Program name: Quikmail Etc customer service text messages.
Quikmail Etc (334 East Bay Street, Unit G, Charleston, SC 29401) operates a customer service text message program for its mailbox customers. Quikmail Etc is a trade name of Fant Mail Company, LLC. By opting in, you agree to receive text messages from us at the mobile number you provided. These are transactional and service messages about your mailbox with us. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
We send only two kinds of message:
- Reminders that your mailbox rental is coming up for renewal.
- Requests for an updated ID or a current PS Form 1583.
Example message: “Quikmail Etc: your mailbox rental for Box 118 is up for renewal. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out.”
How you opt in
Consent is collected only in person, at the store, on a signed Quikmail Etc SMS Consent Form (PDF), which we provide with your PS Form 1583. The form has a mobile phone number field, describes the messages, their frequency, and the rates that may apply, and has an unchecked box you must check yourself, reading:
“I consent to receive text messages from Quikmail Etc as described above. I understand that consent is not required to make a purchase.”
Opt-in: in-store SMS Consent Form. The signed form is kept with your PS Form 1583 as our record of your consent. Consent is optional and is not a condition of any purchase or of mailbox service. Decline, and we will contact you by phone or email instead.
Only the person who owns the mobile number may opt it in. If you give us a number you no longer use, or that belongs to someone else, tell us so we can correct it.
Message frequency and cost
Message frequency varies with your account activity, up to 3 messages per month.
Message and data rates may apply. Messages are billed by your mobile carrier under your own plan; check with your carrier for details. Quikmail Etc does not charge for text messages.
How to opt out or get help
Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help.
Text any of the following keywords to the number our messages come from. Keywords are not case sensitive.

| START | Resumes messages after you have opted out. UNSTOP and SUBSCRIBE do the same thing. |
You can also opt out by asking any member of our staff in the store, by calling (843) 723-6598, or by emailing quikmailetc@gmail.com. Opting out of text messages does not close your mailbox or cancel any service — we will simply reach you another way.
Your mobile information
No mobile information is sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party except the messaging provider that delivers the messages on our behalf, and that provider may not use your number for any purpose other than delivering the messages you asked for.

Carriers and delivery
Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, and most other U.S. carriers, including their prepaid and MVNO brands. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages, and neither is Quikmail Etc. Delivery is subject to transmission by your carrier and to effective transmission from our messaging provider. Do not rely on a text message for anything time-critical — call the store if it matters.
If you change or give up your mobile number, please tell us, so that messages meant for you do not go to whoever gets the number next.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to receive messages after a change means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, reply STOP.
